This nifty Automator workflow is really easy to use. Say you have just made a few screenshots of stuff you intend to put on a webpage, but you need to scale the objects first to say, 50%.

If you have this Workflow saved in the appropiate location, you just select your images, right-click one of them, in the menu that pops up, select Automator > Scale selected objects 50%, and it is done for you.

If you save this workflow here:

/Users / (your username) / Library / Workflows / Applications / Finder

... it will be available in the pop-up menu.
